The Institute of Business Studies, RANEPA has become Russia’s first and only one business school which has received the world’s most prestigious AACSB International accreditation.

Founded in 1916 and being the largest business education network, the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) is the oldest institution which provides accreditation to schools of business. Being synonymous with the highest standards of quality, the AACSB confirms compliance with 15 international criteria of assessment of educational services.  It is noteworthy that only 5 percent of business schools in the world have received such an accreditation.

Vladimir Mau, Rector of the RANEPA: "I am proud that the Institute of Business Studies, RANEPA has become the first Russian school of business which has received the AACSB accreditation. This is a breakthrough for the entire business education sector which will facilitate upgrading of the standard of training of personnel for the national business and the country’s economy. I am confident that the AACSB accreditation will help us start the cooperation with new partners from the AACSB and develop new, innovative and mutually beneficial international projects."

According to Sergei Mysoedov, Provost of the RANEPA and Director of the Institute of Business Studies, the granted accreditation is evidence of the fact that the institute has become a member of the global family of socially responsible leaders of high quality education in management. "The accreditation will open up opportunities for new strategic partnerships and programs with leading business schools in the US, Europe and all over the world and make it possible to bring to the Russian market innovative educational products which have no analog in this country. At the level of student exchange and research projects we shall be able to build relations with the world’s best universities accredited by the AACSB."
